Date a live series was always thrown by every studio every now and then, so there is still possibility of continuation of the series.
Tho, I'm currently reading volume 21.

Huh, that's unfortunate, I thought they were doing a pretty good job of their shows.
But also, anime development is rarely driven by studios, most of the time they're just contractors hired by media conglomerates, and last time I checked Kadokawa is still standing strong

bro... the studio from the 1 and 2 season bankrupt, and yet there was a 3rd, 4th and 5th season, that wouldn't be a plausible reason for not having a 6th season, for a long time this anime was considered cursed because of this...
