They're really making most of the premise. Though given Kenzaburo's musings on how the world he's in is more than just a game, I'm a bit disappointed that it is just a game. Or maybe we're in for another twist later down the line.

Funny to see Narnia referenced in the midst of all the old-school anime.

A month's timeskip has both Grace and Anna fully integrated into the magic academy, and learning how to summon beasts in a summoning ritual, unfortunately is something that Kenzaburo just doesn't quite understand, and has to have Hinako explain the plot to him. That, with the elemental attributes to the beasts themselves, Grenat's explanation is simple and effective enough...though in a modern RPG setting, this requires a chance of dice for better attributes. Of course, the Student Council has strong beasts, and a Pegasus for Anna sure fits her docile nature...so it comes to Grace's turn after leaving the egg in the month-long hibernation, and Hinako's words strike him the most...to form an Ancient Dragon with both fire and water opposing attributes.

Back to Hinako, the post-accident of their father being fine but in a state of dreamy coma, at least he's not dead that gives relief to her and her mother...but the big surprise being that her dad now controls the entire game, and her otaku mother totally gets it...just like her husband being old school hardcore otaku. Despite the limitations, there's still some form of control seeing their father on screen acting like his usual behavior (that gives the cringes), it's Endo and Kobayashi's TsunLiese in action once again, and Hinako is making this game feel interactive at best. That explains why Hinako's hands can be seen in the game, which of course, spooks her father out the bit.

For Isekai like this to feel interactive, this is a first, and is done very, very well.
