| @deg One is seinen. The other is shonen. And it really shows. Not to hate on AoT, but there's a massive difference in both philosophy and presentation of the ideas. Plus, while Thorfinn has good intentions and I can respect that (I am somewhat a pacifist myself), his line of thinking is VERY flawed and needs a reality check. Won't be surprised if in the next chapter shit hits the fan once again |

| While Thorfinn is right regarding peace, you cannot just shrug off what has already occurred or your people's feelings, you yourself brought over there promising them a better life. Thorfinn talking about leaving so casually, makes it sound easy like he is a lone traveler or something, while he brought so many people with him. Who is going to keep following someone who despite having good intentions puts always his own ideals above his own people's needs. Einar's expression says it all. Dude changed after the first kill. A friendship might be ruined for good there. |

| Pretty sure Styrk isn't talking about actual "negotiations" with Einar there. Though Einar's response would decide the course of the things, I mean see his face once. Btw, that chief guy isn't making out alive I feel. Now to wait two months. |

Shonen stories do not emphasize on character development much and they focus on "action" and "thrill" a lot
Vinland is a seinen that focuses on world building and character building ... Thorfinn was a killing machine but then changed ... the story here has a deeper meaning.
Honestly, I agree with "true victory is not killing your enemies but making peace" because you can your enemy but lose most of your people, money, infrastructure, etc., which is not a true victory. Peace is always better than war
