True now that you say it.

But i think/hope the story progresses in another way. There are some diffrences, for example in Campfire he has has tamed monsters, but in this one the MC finds friends, i guess.

Given the amount of anime set in school with similar but slightly different plots, this thread is seriously reaching. 2 different anime use online shopping as a power source, so the 2nd one is blatantly copying? So is every arranged marriage anime blatantly copying Ranma? Is every pirate anime blatantly copying One Piece? Basic premises are not copyrighted intellectual property.
The Fruitmaster thing this season shares its basic premise with One Piece, Fruit of Evolution and many more anime. In fact there isn’t a show currently being aired that doesn’t re-use some trope or other.

The web novel of Around 40 Otoko no Isekai was published in 2018 while the web novel of Tondemo Skill de Isekai was first published in 2016. There are only 2 years apart and I don't think that anyone knew about Tondemo in 2018 yet. It was still not that popular back then.

And even both of them are in the same genre, it doesn't mean that they were copying each other. Looking at those isekai series or harem romcoms or battle shounen that we got in every season.

Prefer this one so far, personally, especially after picking up the novels of Tondemo and getting absolutely sick of what a little b***h slave the mc came to be to his monsters and the gods, always cooking more and more, sending huge offerings, and squealing like a little girl as he got dragged off to one dungeon after another when they found out that his shop skill would upgrade to include specialty stores when he leveled and everyone bullied him to pick the one that THEY wanted...

At least the mc here is just taking it easy, making some deals and cash, and generally just making the most of his second life.

I disagree and am glad this was greenlit. It’s not exactly a copy. Japan’s web novel scene is vast, and almost everything mainstream has been done before and will be done again, each time with a unique twist and flavor.

This show stands out—its MC doesn’t break down over facing monsters, gets to have a one-night stand, and both characters handle it maturely, without letting it disrupt their everyday interactions.

I personally prefer this show. Sure, the cooking was better in the other one, but this one has its own charm, and I’m excited to see more of it.
