Morality is something you find when you're lost.' — Jolenta (Chapter 46). Conviction is a double-edged sword, a force that demands great sacrifice and can obscure one’s moral compass. 'Sacrifices must be made for the sake of the beauty of this world' — (Chapter 62) The final chapter presents a what-if scenario—a Rafal lookalike who loses his sense of morality due to an unrelenting and blindingly strong conviction. Or rather, it is his refusal to waver in that conviction that ultimately leads to his loss of morality. |
