I still don't understand why people still hate Sakiko after we found out all the reasons in episode 1 of the anime.

Indeed. For some people it's simply difficult to get rid of the hate. Poor Sakiko. :(

I never hated an anime character, what’s the point? They’re not real. But it was definitely a plot point that got under my skin. It’s good to see the situation resolved. I’m more disappointed by the amount of hate her father received in the episode comments. He may not have handled things at all well, but do depressed people deserve punishment? The problem was with the family not supporting him and his daughter, not his breakdown. But it’s easy to judge people as trash when you’ve not lived through loss and depression yourself.

As above said I didn't hate her I was just really annoyed it was never revealed in MyGo since it was such a central plot point, especially when she sees people around her breaking down because of her decision. I disagree though that the dad is absolved of responsibility just because he's depressed. He's still a parent and absolutely still needs to get his shit together for his daughters sake. She had just as much loss as he did and still took charge of her life and fought through it. The grandfather also sucks though since it sounds like he had the father take the fall for something and just wanted an excuse to out him.

honestly I did not understand why she leaved CRYCHIC..... Is it because she wanted to work so she no longer had time for the band?

It’s because it doesn’t matter what bad stuff has happened in her past, that doesn’t excuse her being a dick in the present day.

I think that's part of it. My take is that it is also mostly that she knew she needed a band that was going to be business first instead of fun or passion first, and that was not the reason why CRYCHIC was formed. I think she was especially unwilling to put Tomori into that situation.

For the people who believes Sakiko deserve her suffering and she should have just stayed with her grandfather, did you guys ignored the fact, that family just lost over a 100 million USD because of a fuck-up? Yes, they used her father as an scapegoat, but you guys believe that will be the end of it? A bigger scandal is imminent on that family and you guys want her to stay there?

i think if Sakiko talk about her problem even without explaining in details all the situation about her family the things in the ex band mate's could've less worse, but in the other hand she still a teenager and has no experience at all.
the less believable thing is how she can manage the band at pro levels of production and publicity...
(sorry for the bad english)

@ajw215799 Well, I do agree bad people don't deserve make up any excuse, but her actions are reasonable so I don't understand why you'd call her as that. Because she said harsh things to everyone instead just telling the truth? It's not like she wants to dumped her silly girl band anyway.

@chocomayu I call her a dick because she is one, I still remember from MyGo how much pain she put those girls threw and with Ave Mujica, she just walks all over the other girls in her group

@ajw215799 the MyGO members are all in pain way long before CRYCHIC fell aparts. I think you should remember about what Soyo—MyGO bassist—did in the prequel. All of that wouldn't happen if she didn't eventually force Saki to come back.

I could be wrong though, but if there's one who directly gets hurt because of Saki's behaviour, I believe it's just Mutsumi.
