People who don't understand what I am talking about most probably haven't read the LN of the series, I cannot give spoilers about it rn, maybe next episode when we have a clearer picture about what's happening, but I really thought that the story will end here once and for all. But they want to continue with the LN version with what happened in the last few seconds.

Well in the LN, at this point of time, all the saintess powers and stuff don't get out so quickly, and it was more like E12 didn't even exist as a story in the LN, E11 story would be followed directly by E13, also King's brother is kept for the last arcs, I really don't know how the story will proceed with major plot points already shown, as the Kingdom Arc was generally a low point in the series, and the only thing which made readers go through that arc was the overall revelations in the story.

Well, I doubt we will get a S2 (which I pray we should get) but they should have really kept the mystery going on, as LN readers always felt the Saintess was genuine and the overall mystery regarding to the kingdom was also shown less in the show, like the Kingdom was a bigger mystery than the Saintess, but in the anime Alice's obsession with Kingdom feels unnecessary.

Well anyways, I would recommend you guys to read the LN after the end of the current season, if you like Hunger Games type of thing.

Slightly concerned about the Huger Games comment LMAO

Its interesting to have the differences pointed out and Weird they swapped story plot lines…. Sometimes it can make a story weaker by rearranging its structure like that
