I don't think I ever got my mind blown so much from an anime announcement (and like a couple months ago Grand blue season 2 got announced).
I've been a big fan of "I'm Getting Married to a Girl I Hate in My Class" by "Manga Angel Neko Oka" since the very first chapter upload, it's very wholesome. I remember rewatching it so many times waiting for a new chapter to come up, because it took so long.
I had a period in my life that I was really into rom-coms that manga creators published on YouTube (instead of a website that was specifically made for manga), and added colors, voice actors and everything.
It was a guilty pleasure of mine and that series was the Pinnacle of it, I grew out of that phase eventually but now that this RomCom gets animated I will definitely go check that out and I highly recommend ya'll would too, to support this trend & the author so maybe others could follow.

I dove deep into this shit and it turns out that there was a YouTube video from the channel op referenced doing an English voice over of this manga. Said video was released in august 2020, whereas the Light Novel was published later in december that year and the manga was published in 2021 (according to MAL).

What I think could be happening is that the author, Amano Seiju, released either a web novel or a web manga, and that YouTube channel picked it up before the LN was published.

There's also the fact that the YouTube channel doesn't reference the author, but they list a postal address in Tokyo, which could mean that the author has some sort of relationship with the YouTube channel (which would be weird considering the voice-over is in English).

Also, I checked out the first chapter of the published manga, and it is wholy different to the manga portrayed in the video. If anyone knows more about this, let me know.

Addendum: the web novel or web manga is speculation so far. I couldn't find any link or trace of them in the limited time I've been investigating this, so there could be a whole other thing happening. If someone knows whether they actually exist, let me know.

Days with my Stepsister (義妹生活, Gimai Seikatsu) also started as a YouTube channel before the light novels were published (manga adaptations also published after the LNs). And it kept the same seiyuus for the leads for the anime (although recasting wouldn’t make sense as the YouTube channel is still active with the same lead seiyuus).

@IhnalakoKaina I just found out that Amano Seiju is the script writer of that YouTube channel.
