Throughout the series it struck me as odd that every single person was encouraging Tsukasa and Isla to get together from the beginning, even though one is an android and the other is human. I would have thought someone would be bothered with the non-human and human relationship. At the very least, have someone bring it up. It seemed like android-human love was a generally accepted thing at their office even though the androids are always shown as being used and bought for the purpose of work (caretaker, house keeper, job assistance, etc). I was surprised that there was no taboo about their relationship discussed, more so with their job being ending android life. Their romantic love was openly encouraged. Anyone else have thoughts about this?

It would be interesting to see someone against that idea, but considering the setting, that person would probably be considered the "strange one"

Why are you forcing your personal thoughts & feelings onto the anime story, which obviously did not agree with you?!

In that world, such love was not discouraged, but encouraged, nothing wrong with that.

Makes no sense to be so against a fictional world.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Their entire purpose is to fill the void in human's hearts, so discouraging them from developing their relationship would seem counterproductive.

the purpose for androids are to be as “friends” or people to form bonds with and be of important value to a person. thats why people encouraged their relationship. it also woulda have to be because of isla in the past not forming any close relationship with anybody except for her “mother figure”.

being in love with an android can also be considered as a "work" thing as it can help heal a broken heart for the time the android is still active

it is also seen in one episode where two elderly couples were keeping an android as a way to cope for the loss of their son

I have never really liked the idea of love between humans and robots, but I don’t think that that is the moral of the story in this series. I had the idea that they’re saying “time is limited”, not “we encourage love between humans and robots”.

It’s very depressing at parts you’ll understand once you start watching it without giving any spoilers in a grown ass man and I cried hard

Oh that’s interesting, especially the last bit. I like this take. Thank you.
