Season 1 ends on Volume 4, so you can just start with volume 5. Just my personal opinion though, but I would suggest starting from volume 1, even if you’ve seen the anime. The novel is definitely worth reading from the beginning.

I would agree the beginning novels are a very good read the only thing to look out for is they do make him a tad more self deprecating and less confident than the anime so if that’s not for you just start at volume 5.

Most LN adaptations tend to skip a lot of content such as character monolgues/development, start reading from the beginning.

The anime adapts up to volume 4. Well, volume 4 is a good ending.

I don’t really enjoy volume 5 enough to motivate me to keep reading.

Do you have a source for the Volumes?

you can read them from jnovels or join the discord server to get the fan translations ( after vol 7 content)

As someone who has both read and watched, I can say the LNs are better. The show rushes the story a lot and especially in terms of vol 3&4 content. The show eliminates like half the tertiary characters who are some of my faves and a good amount of story beats and cute moments are also completely cut.
