If anyone watched the pre-screening yesterday on livestream, then you probably already watch episode 1 and 2.

Personally, I feel it's a good watch but there are so many things that can be improved:

- The lack of bgm is really noticeable. Many scenes could have been enhanced by music, such as when the Sage escapes, Faust dying, Shylock and Murr conversation.
- The lack of movements. They're covering it by making many zoom-out shots so that they can just slap beautiful background on and don't need to animate character's mouth movement.

However, the pacing is pretty good, the character's expression is done right when it needs to be. And the seiyuus are good as always.

I would totally recommend fans to check the anime out. The Opening certainly gives that mysterious, whimsical feeling to the series (except for the lalala ending lol I was laughing). The Ending? Not really.

If anyone is new to the series, I assure you this series is not an otome, a re-harem or a slice-of-life because it gonna slaps you with dark themes 😂

maybe i’m just bias, but i think it was great!! the art is good, the music is also good!! and the animation isn’t too bad and it’s also consistent (unlike a certain hiphop anime from last year 😓) mahoyaku having an anime still feels so unreal

early release. u can find on 哔哩哔哩 (china bilibili, not global bilibili). search 魔法使的约定

need to download the app using japan or china apple id (i don’t know about android)

no subtitle btw! if you want subtitle, wait until january
