| A new story by Oshimi-sensei! It introduces an eccentric teacher and explores the varied psychological reactions of her students to her unusual interrogation. Oshimi, paralyzed by fear of the consequences, joins his classmates in scapegoating Hiromi for being different, prolly because he has acted in a different, most of times obnoxious, way to the most of the class. Overwhelmed by fear and perhaps thoughts of Hiromi acting mean towards him in the past, Oshimi follows his classmates' lead and falsely accuses Hiromi of drawing on a sheet of paper without permission. I'm curious to see how this story will conclude. Will Oshimi's intrusive thoughts of "sinning" subside? I hope the story will have more or less a happy ending. On a side note, I think the art style in this chapter is less refined than some of Oshimi-sensei's recent works. However, this might be intentional, as the story focuses on children. An overly realistic style used to draw that children wouldn't find intriguing could potentially disrupt the reader's immersion. |
