| LOL, does the mangaka hate glasses guys or something? Both the nerd losers who got well and truly rejected (Yara and Anzu's dad) wear glasses, while the unwitting ladykiller Hotaru doesn't - even though fictional authors tend to wear them, even if only while working. |

| This was a nice episode to callback on inner realization. But the moral of the episode is this: "Kinoko's Takoyaki is Plum's Onigiri" |

| Ok Plum might actually be cuter than Kinokoinu lol. I was skeptical of them adding another one at first but Plum definitely has a personality unique from Kinokoinu |

| Tsubaki going out to find her ex-husband and leaving Plum all at home behind, whilst Kinokoinu quivers at the breakdown of the takoyaki pan, luckily there's Komako to help Hotaru out take care of it...though Tsubaki coming thereafter with Plum, he has no choice but to do the same for the sibling. For Komako to find her middle school classmate grow into a mother of 3 for a family, as much as the kids see Kinokoinu as a dog, what's there to sigh about? Hotaru's jealousy over Kinokoinu's takoyaki pan, she has priorities, while it has too. For Plum, Kinokoinu's melon bread-turned-takoyaki is Onigiri, reminding Tsubaki of her failed marriage with her husband, and finding joy all over again with the mushroom pup to not care about the failed marriage anymore, it's the same story with Komako being enamored by Kinokoinu all the same on her own circumstances. Finding happiness, through mushroom pups. |
