The dialouge is trash. They are all really, really stupid during fights. And if I have to hear "strongest man in the whole world" one more time I'm gonna put this garbage on mute any time he is on the screen.

The initial holding cell with the maid conversation was just word salad. The meeting of every brave explains nothing to the others for far too long. The princess says her dad ordered her to be killed then just left it at that.

I get not wanting 10 minutes of exposition, but the character building is so absolutely horrible I just about dropped this one every other episode. But I've watched tons of worse movies and shows on free streaming platforms and so why not waste 5 hours.

Yeah the artstyle is really cool but the series really just has nothing going for it beyond that. This would probably be best kept for a review tho

I am watching 1/2 season series I see suggested on lists and this one was represented as something like "FIRE ANIME THAT PEOPLE SLEEP ON" or something similar.

Most of the others had annoying tropes like over the top harems, super dumb but OP MCs, and the other regulars that are in most anime, but at least told a coherent story and gave decent backstory in just a few minutes. This one had very few redeeming qualities.

If you pay attention to the conversations held, one more sentence or reply from characters who just stopped talking for no reason would have served to explain the entirety of an episode. The cutting each other off before they can explain because you need to kill them is so far reaching it gets annoying after the second or third time it happens. But it keeps happening through to the end of the season.

Oh, and what a cliffhanger. ANOTHER ONE?!?! Dun dun dun. Are they going to find two demon lords and have to argue about which one to kill too?

There really is not much else to critique as there is hardly any action and if there is, it lasts for just a couple of minutes. It is basically a bunch of idiots pointing fingers at each other and not asking or answering a huge list of questions.

When did your mark appear? Can it be cleaned or scrubbed off? Why was a fiend pretending to be a human right outside the temple? Why are we alway split into groups of 2 or 3 when it would make more sense to figure this problem out as a group? How about we don't just kill each other? And so on...

I just watched it and posted a review. The fact that mine wasn't original just goes to show that a large number of people think it's not some hidden gem, it's a skippable cubic zirconia.

I watched the anime, did not like it, looked at the discussion section and saw nobody talking about not liking it, made this thread.

Pretty straight forward and to the point, seriously.

I was gonna give a good natured rebuttal on why I liked the show but this guy also gave Boruto a 8/10. My advice to U is to stick to shounens.

It's aight. Fights are nice, mystery was decent as well, couldn't necessarily say I saw it coming. Dialogue was good, I never really cared for what they said tbh. Its a nice 7/10 show, your average show like any other.

Yeah I totally agreed, If I recalled back this anime is the real definition of mid. I don't know why I've rated it 7/10. Probably 6 or 5 out of 10. Doesn't mean this anime is that bad but just plainly generic mediocre

I agree with pretty much everything said here. Characters are corny, but regardless of the cringe, I like the idea of a mystery in a setting like that. I mean, it's better than then having a basic story to go fight some poorly written demon king with zero stakes. 7/10 is not a waste of time imo.
