| First thing I thought of when I saw that panel. Besides that, this ride just keeps going. This blend of pure high-octane action and sophisticated mind games is so incredibly unique, and the execution of it is just getting better and better with each arc. Though, so far, I have been a bigger fan of the isolated unfiltered violence more so than the gambles, since not only does the art, choreography, and paneling, really get to shine, but because with the gambles, I kind of tune out the fighting within them and instead focus on keeping up with Baku's train of thought, it muddles up the gamble in my opinion. However, the gambles are definitely the most compelling aspect of this manga. |
