Gaon stayed seated for so long, that lost his stamina to do magic.

Was good Gaon interaction with Komugi, just turning sour when he realized that she was a precure.

Reject doge return to wolfe.
And Komugi really have a wolf inside her.

Omg the girls looked so cute in their costumes I’m wondering like wtf a Halloween ep? Totally forgot this week is the big day, it’s like once my birthday hits on the 16th it’s Halloween then Thanksgiving then Christmas holy shit time flies. Anyway, the girls looked adorable I would’ve liked to have got more of the festivities before we got into the action tho:/

Gaoun seems like a decent fella tbh if he was really evil he could’ve easily killed Komugi on that bridge. I completely understand him hating humans and wanting his revenge for his wolves, kinda hard to root against him. Zakuro ass always wanna be involved in something tho lol the girls having a serious convo with Gaoun and here come her ass trying to be relevant.

Niko is so pretty man she might give Cure Majesty a run for her money. Can’t wait to see more of her. Really good episode went by so quickly as usual

This show always fails when it matters, this was supposed to be a big series development episode but it couldn’t stick the landing. I haven’t liked this iteration of the franchise since Day 1 when it proved it was way more child oriented than previous entires which has caused them to fail over and over.

Predictable!

With Komugi, they pulled the same stupidity they did last year with “Dark Cure Sky”: trolling viewers by taunting them with the possibility of one of the Pretty Cures turning evil! All for what? So they could prove a point about how strong the bond between them (or even between owner and pet in general) is compared to other animals that were turned evil?! It also doesn’t help that they just HAD to do the “Komugi gets distracted like the dog she is” gag! And before anyone mentions the preview for this episode, that’s just it! It could have been anybody! For those who…know, do they REALLY need to go through Black/“Wicked” Lady all over again?! Either way, it doesn’t know how many times Toei has done it! Furthermore, they could have shown the “Niko Evolution” the episode’s title refers to without doing this whole thing!

Now, I know what some of you are going to say, but don’t forget: this is a family-friendly Sunday morning anime franchise, not one of those adult-oriented shows that airs after/near midnight! At the risk of detailing this entire thread however, I’ll stop there. Suffice it to say, Pretty Cure wasn’t made for…”enthusiasts” (not using the “o” word). It was made for family viewing; yes, despite what past Pretty Cure shows have done. In any case, it disappoints me when a show resorts to things like this in order to keep things “interesting”, or even just to “throw” the older “serious” fans “a bone”…

Also, yeah yeah, “Halloween”, they meet Gaou, human Niko, blah blah blah, yakkity shmakkity…

Also, next episode, dog Iroha, etc., etc., etc., and so on and so forth.

Look, I’m sorry everyone, but I’m just really frustrated over what’s happened in this episode. I just think the whole “Face-Heel Turn” trope (or even just taunting people with it) is just taking the easy way out, especially for a character like Komugi, and I really think this episode (and series, and franchise, actually) could/would/should have done without it.

I'm wondering if Gaou is positioned as Komugi's romantic interest instead of Niko. Zakuro confesses her love to Gaou everyday but I just can't take that seriously.

INTENSE encounter with Goah. did NOT expect Komugi to get Goagoahn'ed. and even a classic vampire bat to top it off! looks like this last arc won't disappoint
