I don't understand why this is such a big issue lmao.

Like what does it matter to you if it's a new entry or not.

Even better imo since you can give a different score for this arc which is better than the boring previous season.

Season 2 was overhyped only to turn out mid af. Most people would be glad season 2 is ending only to find out there’s a second part. That’s like asking to watch mid back to back with no warning.

@Aynix That's cool. You sound like a passionate fan of ToG. Unfortunately, I'm not going to spend any more time on an adaptation that failed to make me care.

How you thought about reading the manwha? It’s really good and doesn’t cut out a lot like the anime. The reason a lot of s2 got hyped was because of certain arcs. But that was only in the case that it was adapted well which sadly it wasn’t.

@Mikaelamofu I don't really read action manga or manwha. For me, those are better experienced in animation where you can see the fights in motion.

@MarshallLeeee No problem. The thing is with those very long series, usually if the arc seems meh at first, it meh all the way till the end of this arc and another arc is better instead arc getting better mid way. ToG is simillar to One Piece with this (both are simillar size, considering ToG chapters are around twice as long as One Piece)

@MarshallLeeee This show has enough material to have 10 more seasons. The thing anime covered in two anime seasons can be named "a prologue". ToG starts to get really good in something that we will see in like 2-3 more anime seasons. Then its 10/10 all the way till the end.
@Aynix what the manhwa has is abso-fucking-lutely irrelevant. The director this adaptation has been handed off to is straight up incompetent, which is why it has a deserved sub-7 rating. And even that is propped up by fanboys like you, who would eat literal shit if it was branded with a TOG sticker.

The amount of hate in these comments is baffling. Why does it matter if they're split? It changes nothing in your life. (Also, let's remember that from the first moment, it was marketed as two seasons)
@LinkHimura

Gen Z's always find something to hate.

It's just cause it's being marketed and presented as different, it has different names and everything. Going from 'Season 2: Return of the Prince' to 'Season 2: Workshop Battle' and yes the Japanese titles are different too. If you wanna blame someone, blame the creators of the show for needlessly deciding to make them be two differently names entries for some reason.
LOL, your opinion is wrong!

Not really MALs fault, it can't help it if the show decided to change to a new name despite no gap in airing.

@baymaxemon The Blue Exorcist thing is a normal thing that's been done even before they started labeling separate seasons as part 1, part 2 and so on. Which the new season of that isn't btw. There's always been a gap, sometimes years long, between seasons. This is just plain dumb.

@Kronosyo I don't see how this will hurt the show, unless you mean hurt it's ratings on here, which might be the case. I think most people who want to keep watching will just suck it up and deal with the dumb split entry, because it's just a minor annoyance at worse.

So Crunchyroll has released episode 14, not season 3 ep 1.

@Eira_99 JJK S2 was also split into "Hidden Inventory/Premature Death" and "Shibuya Incident". There wasn't even a 1 week break between ToG S2 parts, this is ridiculous.
Imagine normies saying: "Peaky Blinders is mid and overhyped. Just another typical crime drama show. Breaking Bad is much better lol.".

@booyah10 Finally a worthy answer to the nonsense question. There's some people who find problem with everything about Tower of God.
