| Tragic story in the end... I'm not sure how to rationalize or comprehend to describe the guy's intent of meaning to the story. The girl, like her father, as a soldier, sacrifices her body to fight and keep her people safe from danger, so after every injury, she comes to get it fixed, only to return to fight again to protect her home. Yet, because of that, as much as she loves her village, and is loyal to her father and family's pride to continue this legacy of soldiers who fight for pride of saving others... she neglected her own desire and romantic interest since she was a child towards the guy. Meanwhile, like the girl, the guy takes ownership of the family business to continue the legacy of repairing things and people. Except, his father, who warned him to never replace the heart, for he did that mistake three times (including the girl's father), the boy disregarded his father's warning, and replaced the girl's heart when she felt too weak in hesitation to mistake a child terrorist as harmless who killed many when she let him go. And thus, because of that... unfortunately, she lost (forgot) her "heart" of love for him, deciding to never meet again, even though he pleaded to continue meeting, after he originaly told her not to from the worry of her death after every worsening injury. From her eye, to an arm, to a hand, followed by her legs and voice. She fought for her people. While, he continued to fix others. ... I just don't exactly fully comprehend the meaning of his "mistake" to the story. I assume he was doing it out of love and respect to her wish of continuing to save people, but he still ignored his father's mistake of removing three people's heart, which obviously meant killing part of their humanity. ... Which is what happened, because she can't consciously remember or care in action her love for the guy. Crying from the hopelessness in subconscious of knowing she lost something meaningful, she still decides to never meet again for some reason. Man, that's tragic... 7/10. |
