two people are strangers don't know each other's dont know how to communicate with other people are forced to live together by marriage of their parents, the director made this so beautiful because the story it's self is great , in so many points how they react about their new first feelings. how they try very hard to protect the family by holding their feelings, , how they react about their new family , how they were very responsible about themselves, how they really love their parents, how they try to work really hard for their parents separately ( ep3)
if you are asking where the romantic , the romantic infront of your eyes , these feelings
and you didn't read the LN , so don't judge without reading it , but if you speak about the characters, there are people like that , they can't communicate with people, they can't live normally like you , they see that their life is just a secret, and should stay in secret, they can't handle with big groups , but you can rely on them , all time prefer to be alone, this is their confort zoon for them , so again for everyone here , if you didn't see these type of people that doesn't mean these people are not exist , because when you say that it's hurt , that you can't see us , these people who are like them
Respect you all guys , and have a nice day 😊

I thought i won’t read allat but after two sentences it made me reconsider my life choices.
I am not gonna be “Yo, dude, that was a total oof. Like, cringe hard. I mean, the grammar was lit af, but the spelling was low-key a fail. TBH, I'm pretty sure Gen Z would clap back at that. Maybe next time, try something a little more relatable and vibey. You know, like, let's get this anime and all that jazz.” instead i understand your situation, LOL SORRY, Hey, it's cool to make mistakes. English is tough. Keep practicing, you'll get better!

I also think the author's masterful storytelling in Gimai Seikatsu beautifully explores the journey of two strangers forced to live together by their parents' marriage. The narrative is particularly compelling in its portrayal of the characters' evolving emotions and their efforts to navigate a new and unfamiliar dynamic.

The story delves into the complexities of their relationship, from their initial awkwardness to the development of genuine feelings. Their unwavering commitment to protecting their family and their dedication to their parents are commendable. The characters' individual struggles with communication and social interactions add depth to the narrative, showcasing the challenges faced by those who may prefer solitude or find it difficult to connect with others.

While some may not immediately recognize the authenticity of these characters' experiences, it's important to remember that everyone is unique, and their preferences and behaviors may differ from the norm. Judging the characters without understanding their perspectives would be unfair. By acknowledging the diversity of human experiences, we can foster a more empathetic and inclusive community.

Thanks for making this discussion thread! You're a riot. Take care.

Please don't apologize. You're making me feel like the villain here. I'm simply discussing the topic you brought up; there's no need to take it personally.

*My inner thought: “Maybe i should delete my post, maybe I should just step aside and let the true comedian shine. I'm a little devilish after all but nah!” Maybe that’s why i don’t get friends LOL☠️*

Ok, the English is a little difficult to understand due to OP not being fluent, but the points expressed are pretty much how I see it. I disagree with the multiple weekly posts saying it’s too slow or too melancholy, to me those things give all the beautiful art and complex emotions time to develop in the viewer’s mind. It’s a very rare and unique view of a situation most anime simply use as a joke or to push for an ecchi outcome. I’m really glad it was made with so much thought and consideration towards normal, low- confidence people who take time to understand the effects their inner feelings have on everyone around themselves before selfishly rushing into a situation that can’t be undone. It’s truly breathtaking.

Personally I had no problem reading your post, since my first language is English translating wasn’t hard at all. And yeah I agree, it’s been a breath of fresh air watching this since most shows with step-siblings in it are devious 🤣

Agreed. OP hit a lot of the ways I feel about this. Being a teen about to hit adulthood when you aren't confident in yourself and then thrust into the situation they are would be very confusing especially if this person was one of the first people to really express a care to your well being and feelings. And the taboo of it being your step sibling. The slow burn of the anime is a very realistic approach, and with the art direction as amazing as it is, this anime really surprised me with how much it resonated. I would be offended if it veered towards fan service.

The OP, or in the anime? 🤣 Cause anime no. He and his new step sister have had no physical intimacy.

WTF LMAO Whoa, slow down there, Sherlock! You're jumping to conclusions faster than my tax collector but it still seems a lil’ bit sus to me as well but I don't want to get into someone's personal affairs, and you shouldn't either.

That's so damn hard to read, but from what I understand you're correct. This show is very good and people dismiss it without giving it a chance, which is bad.

As far i understand from what you wrote, great points. The thing I really got from what you wrote and from what the show shows, is that people that have been hurt is also the ones that knows how to care and love the most.

For what its worth.. your interaction with OP is making me laugh alot. xD

But that aside, I agree with everyone here this show is absolutely beautifully crafted and I feel fortunate to have watched it up to this point. I do believe I will read the light Novel after next weeks final episode which Is something I never considered before. I like it that much.

@Olivre

Absolutely! ☠️

this is one of those animes that don't feel like the usual animes, but more in touch with reality and how you really relate yourselves with.

@Ahmedpower I'm talking about real incest couples who can't live normally because incest is criminalized and ostracized, so they have to live in secret.
