This was ok volume. It felt more like a cooldown after the multiple climaxes in the previous volume.

The teacher's investigation isn't getting close to the truth anytime soon. Not that I can blame them for not suspecting the students. Ted is closer to the truth with the Chloe being alive theory than he realises.

There were many discussions on the world and the impact mages have had on this world along with more demi-human rights discussions. I was surprised by how pragmatic Morlik's plans for the future were. Mages will always rule the world so they need to improve their own standing.

Gnostics are a bigger threat than I realised if they have so many active gnostic groups out there. It's a miracle some other god hasn't taken over yet.
