Rather than listening to 'someone' watch the show and check if it's somehow happening in the 'real' world. As far as I can remember, all the world there was a pretty stereotypical one, from this type of shows, and there weren't any maps showing geographical resemblance to the real world. Maybe in the LN there is some plot twist that it's actually happening in the 'real' world, or the more likely scenario, that there are some places that are inspired by real-world counterparts. E.g.,Wano is very clearly Japan-inspired, but no one would actually say that One Piece takes place in the 'real' world. |

Second pic is Galar from Pokemon sword and shield. Galar is based on Great Britain. Did you see any Brit in Galar? Seiken Gakuin might have a map or two looking like Lebannon or China but it doesn't mean characters are Chinese or Lebanese or that the country they live in is actually China or Lebanon. It's merely easier to draw a map when copying an existing one. Don't think that much about it and write your fiction as you please.   |
