| The cellar is turned into Ayako's room and with that it seems like her fate is sealed. She spent a few months down there already, which we saw pass in this chapter, so it looks like she's sadly doomed to spend the forseeable future in the cellar. The only chance that she had to leave was in her father, who despite all his flaws did love Ayako, but he suffered a stroke and he's now in a vegitative state so that can't happen. Shiro might be able to help her, but he's still too young to go against the entire family by himself. It also looks like he became quite meek after the fake cloth situation so I hope that he'll return to his former attitude. |
