| Yeah, at first I was also confused with the two children that showed up in this episode. Then re-winded and paid closer attention to the captions and eye colors. But poor Xiahou Dan, he's been through a lot. Definitely feels like they used drugs or some sort of operation to mess with his mind, but could also be due to going though all that by himself. Glad he has people by his side now. But yeah after reading some of the youtube comments, I got confused again. I thought we only saw young Dan in this episode, not that he was the transmigrated boy struggling through the classes :') (Checked, and yeah it was Dan with his green eyes, not the brown eyed son). But is it true that he transmigrated at a young age (since some say he was in middle school), or was he just comparing to middle school, but he really is an adult who transmigrated into the child form of the character...and after circumstances...forgot who he really was in his time period...or is he really a bad actor DX? I guess we'll see. |
| No matter how many good and heavy episodes there have already been, this one was definitely the most important for the plot so far. It answers a lot of questions: most importantly why is there such a dynamic in the palace between Dan, Empress Dowager and Bo Also partially answers the headaches and why he is such a good "actor" It also raises a lot of new questions: Firstly - Why is he lying to Yu so much?, connected to - Is he actually the bad guy then?! That would be bigger than almost any plot twist in anything. I was already hooked because of how good this is, but now I'm even much more interested in how will it unfold. |
