| So, I haven't rewatched Monogatari in a pretty long time, but shouldn't Ôgi be gone by that point? Iirc they vanished at the end of Ôgi Dark, which was before Araragi finished his high school year, and given that Sodachi is in college I assumed that this arc took place after everything we saw so far (except maybe Suruga Devil). So what's up with Ôgi showing up casually? |

| After Araragi revealed her true identity as a apparition that pretends to be the Darkness, the Darkness then appeared behind Ougi, aiming to swallow/kill her, but before it did so, Araragi saved her, by pushing her down, (Which that moment, is his iconic "I just saved myself") and then he & Meme, affirmed her existence, as Meme niece, as Ougi Oshino, which made the Darkness retreat. |

| Ararag saved her (himself) at the end of Owari 2. Hence the whole you can only save yourself theme comes into play. She also made a major appearance in two chronological arcs post Owar 2 in Zoku Owari & Hanamonogatari respectively. |
