No. This may bee my favorite out of the rebuild movies along with 3.0+1.0 but you'll bee confused when you skip this and go straight to 3.0+1.0

@Comica21 i mean he will be confused even if he watches 3.0 XD

@offcrack rebuilds might not be the best story or best ending, but it is the ending shinji and all the evangelion fan deserved. Rebuilds are not a cash grab, instead a proof of improving mental health of Anno for which everyone should be grateful.
