| I haven't read any other reviews or discussions, but I see that the MAL rating/score is 6.51, which is baffling. This is one of those MAL entries that can most definitely not be judged based on the rating/score alone. Sometimes the score can be reliable -- in this case, it's anything but. I was expecting something abhorrent but Episode 1 was totally fine. It's not a 10/10 masterpiece, but I genuinely have no complaints. It's interesting, and for an isekai/fantasy, original enough. Maybe slightly generic, but certainly distinguishable. BTW, I do notice some people critiquing the art. I on the other hand think it looks great. It's an incredible change of pace from the other copy/paste art styles. Reminds me of a mix of Golden Kamuy, Isekai Ojisan, and Ranking of Kings. I can understand why people might rate this under an 8. Even a 7.1 would be justifiable. But almost a 6.5 exactly is something I cannot explain or fathom. |

| A great opening of a rare quality. Let's hope the story keeps it up since it has a promising premise too. |
| That was alright I guess. I just wanted the episode to end like half-way through though, but that ending did catch me a bit off guard |
