| Core story resumes, although not without a hefty dose of somewhat forced drama. We return to focusing on Ling's father(?) from episode one, who's once again beaten the woman Ling lives with. The physics professor helps Ling out, although he seems much more sinister this time around; clearly he harbors more underlying motives than we've seen so far. Full backstory as well for the father, which hardly redeems him but at least explains his actions. Most likely a climactic and revealing episode next. |
