What are you talking about? Season 2 animation was awesome, specially if you consider how much effort the staff had to put in order to deliver the anime in the short time they had. Goshozono Shouta did such an incredible job as the anime director. I mean, he was so innovative and tried to approach the anime in so many different ways.

I didn't like the first season of JJK that much, but the second season definitely made me love the anime. In fact, I'd say season 2 is one of the most outstanding pieces of art in the anime industry.

Mf is the type of dude to watch Demon Slayer and say animation is 2/10 because of CGI.

Season 1 is my favorite between the two. I've rewatched it 3 times through and for some reason it took the third time for me to truly appreciate it. Maki and Nobara are bad ass and the character development through the season is peak. I also like the animation style during the fights better than in season 2.

honestly, the first season is just good. nothing amazing, but there's a couple of interesting concepts and characters that get people interested. it mainly got popular because of gojo, but apart from him, season 1 is mainly just set up for season 2, which is where the show gets really good.

season 1 is peak. i love everything about it, the characters, the story, the fights. the whole thing is a masterpiece from beginning to end

I liked it! I watched it recently, but I preferred 0 over season 2. The build up at the end of season 1 was crazy then just really never elaborated on since another arc started. I enjoy the series due to animation and pacing I might start the manga 🤷‍♂️

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Totally agree (except, maybe the part about the most outstanding artwork, I didn’t watch so many anime to know). I found season 2 was directed amazingly, moreover compared to season one which it was pretty boring to me. I think I enjoyed the second season mostly for the direction and the cool characters. Hope they will stuck with the same director for season 3!
