for ln/manga reader, do you think the story for season 2 will be better than season 1?

I heard that in season 1, they skipped so many parts in the light novel, and most importantly they skipped around the romance build. I also realized some inconsistent plot in season 1. So what can we expect with season 2?

The same thing most likely.

it will 100% be worst. the last 3 books in the series not only are longer than most light novels at about 350+ pages each which means they have more to adapt but also the last 3 volumes are EXTREMELY dense with story and payoffs to foreshadowing that wasn't shown in the first season. in short there is absolutely no way for this to actually work I have 0 hope.

also I say this as a LN reader

Yeah, the adaptation will be the same lol, dont expect something better imo. Like there were events that happened in the ln than change drastically cuz of tinasha never becoming a witch. But since those were skipped, i doubt that theyll be mention or that an anime only would get it. Anime only wont notice how the world has change. Also act 2 will follow the love story once again, plus the adventures, and now also exploring the time travel situation. If s1 struggle so much balancing this out, I think s2 will be even worse imo.

Like other comments mentioned, S2 is most likely gonna be an even worse adaptation. To properly adapt the main story of this series, they should've done a 24 episode S1 and then another 24 episode S2. Even then, they'll have to skip a lot of content. I found the light novel to be quite heavy compared to your average LN. I mean it took me twice the time to read a single volume of Unnamed Memory as compared to most other light novels. So basically what I'm trying to say is that, even though there are only 6 volumes of the Unnamed Memory main story LN, it is equivalent to almost 12 volumes of your typical light novel in terms of content. So you can imagine how butchered the adaptations are when they are rushing through 6 volumes of content in just 12 episodes.
