| This show currently shows up as having 10 episodes only, which was understandable back when it aired as it was if I recall correctly, deemed cancelled by that point, after all the production issues it had, including the incredible EP9 having some real Ore ga Suki nano wa Imouto dakedo Imouto ja Nai vibes, BUT... It got remade for the BD release, and also the remaining 2 episodes to end the series were indeed released. There was also a forum post back then about it https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1731079 Shouldn't that 10 EPs get changed now then? I don't know if I even have the permission as an user to change it, also it seems they only released these 2 EPs +EP 9 fix for BD, but I could be wrong. That they did get released tho is a fact. Having watched it back then, in my opinion it finished well the series with those remaining two episodes. |

Therefore, they are considered to be Specials; bonus for the Blu-rays. As for Episode 09, i'm not really familiar with this series, so i can't be sure about its situation, but if it's only animations fixes, it would be considered as the usual Blu-rays enhanced experience, and won't get another entry. If it's a complete different episode, it might be eligible, tho. Edit : I just saw a few comparisons between the 2 versions... Honestly, it's still the same base, but the fixes are quite major, and long, in my opinion. Maybe adding a mention about it somewhere would be good. |

| @Alexioos95 Oh I see, it just flew right past me that there was that entry. Thanks, added it to my own list now as completed. In that regard it makes sense that it is separate, even tho it was supposed to be part of the show itself originally, but if broadcast ended then that's what it is now. Yes, the EP9 redraw/fix isn't something to be added as a separate entry, it doesn't make any sense, I just meant that it did happen, thankfully. As far as animation changes between broadcast and BD are concerned, I think Madoka Magica is almost two different animes in that regard (visually I mean, of course it's still the same show). |
