The large one down his chest is from Daki when she regained her power and slashed the red light district to pieces.

The 2 smaller scars are from Urogi (upper 4/joy demon/Yellow eyed demon) from when he was fighting him alone.

so the straight scar was before sword smith village arc one he got from ig hantengu 😁

the long one from chest to the back is from Daki

and the scratches are from that bird version of upper 4

along with some other random ones from demons but those two are the major ones

i was sure that everybody would notice details like these but ig i was wrong

thats not a scar, that's the demon slayer mark which they went on in detail in the first episode of this season. it doesnt necessarily mean he is close to mastering any breathing technique since he has already mastered water and sun breathing.

do you mean the Mark on his forhead? he once said he got the scar by accident playing with his siblings or was it stopping them fight? 🤔 but the "scar" got covered up by the mark gradually whenever he was pushing his limits. and I think he himself never noticed it wasn't a scar but a mark.

thats not a scar, that's the demon slayer mark which they went on in detail in the first episode of this season. it doesnt necessarily mean he is close to mastering any breathing technique since he has already mastered water and sun breathing.

He’s definitely not mastered breath of the sun, even if he can use all the forms he’s definitely not mastered them properly.

@V1P3R0P there is no way that Tanjiro has mastered the sun technique yet lol he is still learning how to do sun breathing and his level is good, but he is far from perfect. It's not until the end of the series that he gets really good at it and uses it as it should, but he never reached Yorichi's level and wasn't even close.

And when it comes to water breathing, he himself admitted that he didn't master it as much as he should because now he focuses more on the sun breath, which he uses beter and easier. Giyu was upset about this because Tanjiro lacked water breath and never perfected it. Tanjiro basically stopped using it after that. Only in some cases he used it, but then he didn't worry about training on this breathing
