Tch. I saw this coming though I didn't wanna believe it. Unfortunate indeed.

It was only a matter of time. Though it started off with a bit of pop, truthfully… the story didn’t really seem like one that could stick around even if it wanted to.

True… after I read the first chapter, I was already tired of it ngl. It felt like a modern day Hell’s Paradise in its premise but I’m not trying to look for something by-the-books like that (not saying that HP was by-the-books). I wanted something different. The art is fantastic though, I just wished the story was better.

When I saw the teaser image I thought it had potential but after reading the first chapter I also know that this will definitely be cancelled.

beside art I really have nothing to admire. hopefully the author will hone his writing and storytelling skills more or pair it with a good writer.

It had an interesting premise and feels like it could have potentially realized its potential if it was in any other magazine besides WSJ. That said, I had a strong feeling this one wouldn't last very long to begin with. Sucks it didn't even reach 20 chapters.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

To be expected to be honest, the story was nothing much and the art wasn't enough to compensate for it, in a very competitive place like the Shounen jump that wont be enough.

Yup not surprised. The art and world are both great but given the fact you barely could care about any characters and the pacing is wonked out of its mind, it only makes sense. Also story was a bit lacking too. It sucks because this seemed like Hell's Paradise on crack, and that's one of my favorite manga, but it is what it is I guess

It was better than most cancelled series that have gotten the 3-volume-axe by jump, in terms of quality of art. Sadly it did come off as a watered down retread of Hell’s Paradise. It seemed like it was figuring itself out in the last few chapters, but too late to turn it around.

I was rooting for this after I gave it a shot though, on account of how despite the paral-hells, it was a welcome deviation from the usual play-it-safe new jump runs. You can tell the mangaka put a lot of love into the art as it was way more detailed and fleshed out than most weekly series, by a huge margin.

Unfortunately, the narrative suffered and led to a pretty meh overall experience. Would have been nice to see it find its legs. Hopefully the artist took a lot away from this experience and is given another chance for a successful run.

As everyone said, the art was great and insanely detailed. Also, yeah, it was definitely something we could tell it would only get so far.

Another thing I found is that the story was jumping between horror / gore and positive "believe in yourself and your friends" stuff, which I found a bit contradictory. Who was this manga's target audience?

I don't have any strong feelings regarding this manga, but it's always a shame when they get canceled without reaching their true potential.
Out of the "new batch," Green Green Greens is the one I will miss.

Unfortunate but I'm not surprised considering it came out right around the same time as Wild Strawberry which seems to be a lot more marketable. It's too bad it got axed, I feel like the plot was finally starting to pick up around chapter 13.
