All you saw only was leaks, guesses, or misunderstandings. It was officially said and shown that they'll be 4 Volumes of Blu-rays, and they each are gradually getting revealed. As of now, it's confirmed that Volume 1 contains the double-length Episode 01 and Volume 2, Episodes 02 & 03. Going like that, there'll probably be 7 Episodes. Because ufotable never announces an official episode count. But they always line up the last episode with the release of the first Blu-Ray, so that’s how we know the episode count. |

Initially I’ve heard that this short season will have 12 episodes. After some modifications, the number of episodes will be 8, but the first three were mostly fillers and not every part from the manga was presented. Anyway, I love this anime, the animation is still the best and the story is great!
