Hyouma suffers more, after having received artificial arms, this time thanks to poison specifically designed to target someone with his new artificial arms. Hyouma's had to go through worse ordeals in this episode and the previous than many super robot heroes ever have to face. It's honestly kind of visceral how he writhes and pants and how it even implies his new arms are necrotizing— he even begs for his arms to be amputated rather than be forced to continue to endure the pain. This episode would have really stuck in my head if I saw it as a child and not necessarily in a good way. Seeing it as an adult it's actually pretty dramatically effective.

The hero's journey is given to the evil doctor who poisons Hyouma on behalf of the Campbellians. I don't have much to say about him except that he's an effective character for what he is.
