| VERY interesting!! So we have a new enemy Stand, plus Charming Man's Stand got named. The new Stand reminds me a lot of Lovers, except this one can give you diseases. Charming Man getting eye cancer just from touching him I guess? Charming Man sure is interesting, him having a distrust for Usagi is natural, but coming to respect him for knowing what to do in this situation is cool. I guess it's interesting how he uses his Stand, but what exactly is it? Paco seems to be confused by it, and now so I am. I guess I figured originally that Bigmouth Strikes Back could just give him camouflage, but it also allows Charming Man to break apart parts of his body, which is very very interesting. Makes for a more dyanmic Stand power. Now we have that final line at the end from the people working at the land registry office, the woman who got sick (who was the one who showed them the papers) happens to be the daughter of a congressman who is going after illegal activities on the part of Howler... So who is this guy? What is the relevance? Is he going to be an ally? He must be, right, since he's going after the bad guys ? I think that's true. Howler co. is 100% the villainous faction, now, even if we don't ever hear from this congressman guy again, it's being set up that Howler is doing some illegal shit. Plus, the message at the end of the chapter says "so what really is Howler" implying they've got some dark stuff going down. Very nice to have that sort of confirmation that Howler co. is the villainous faction, the new Stand has an interesting design and I'm excited to see more from it!! Edit: I think that since this chapter makes it evident that Howler is the villainous faction, the two King Crimson references in this part aren't a coincidence. I have held onto the Usagi traitor theory for a while, and I think his Stand being a KC song name as well might be a hint that he might be a spy from Howler. It would explain how he came out of nowhere, and also how he knew exactly how to counter this Stand attack. Charming Man made an interesting point saying that Usagi didn't need to rely on anyone to counter the attack, but yet his entire Stand ability is hinging on relying on others to create an object they need! Also, I think it would be interesting if the Howler co. Stand Users all or mostly all had KC inspired names, so my prediction for this disease Stand name is Man with an Open Heart. Mark my words! |

| Feels like a combo of the lovers and dr wu. The user of the lovers is steely dan and doctor wu is a steely dan song... perhaps this enemy stand name will be a steely dan reference too? |

| So fuckin' rad! Happy I was too occupied to read this earlier, cause now the wait for the next chapter will be a lot shorter, haha! One of my favourite chapters so far I think, added to the previous chapter with the tie to this politician character vs. Howler's illegal activities. This first fight against Howler has been awesome, love the virus Stand, one of the cooler automatic type ones I feel, fun design with a pretty extreme ability. Group is top notch, love the interactions, Usagi trying to convince it wasn't drugs while Charmingman takes a while to come around on helping him was super funny, with Bigmouth Strikes Again truly being one of the coolest abilities of this Part so far. The art is always awesome with it, loved travelling to Usagi's heart, really fun time. Also Jodio was very cool here too. Loved it! |
