The positive side is that they did not use the CGI that they did in Junji Ito Maniac but the stories seem very rushed and too short to me, it is true that we like that they do not show something related at the end of the credits, but the series may be for people who is going to buy the author junji ito's books

Yes, it recreates good environments and some sound effects are good, but they should take advantage of the animation work to recreate memorable moments, since it is a terrible job.

And what positive and negative side do you have of Junji Ito Collection?πŸ€¨πŸ™Œ

The good side is that it's actually spooky if you've never read the manga, but the bad side is that the stories are so rushed and sometimes goofy-looking that they can't hold a candle to the manga at all

@karemi_ The series may be enjoyable for many people but I recommend that you buy the author's original work πŸ‘

Positive side.

This anime adapts several famous horror stories from Junji Ito's manga, giving fans the opportunity to see their favorite stories in animated format. Several episodes of this anime successfully capture the eerie and dark atmosphere generally associated with Junji Ito's works. Also several scenes in this anime have scary illustrations and effective sound effects, adding to the intensity of the story. And this anime presents a variety of different horror stories, introducing fans to various stories from Junji Ito's collection.

Negative Side.

Reception of Junji Ito Collection has been mixed, with some fans liking the adaptation of their favorite horror stories while others feel that the anime does not fully capture the essence of Junji Ito's works. Here is some examples;

Some episodes have unsatisfying animation or feel stiff, reducing the chilling impact of the stories. Some of these anime adaptations sometimes cut or reduce important story elements from the original manga, reducing the story's narrative effectiveness. And since most of the anime's episodes are short stories, there is often not enough time to develop the characters thoroughly, leading to a lack of emotional connection with the audience.

So, i think this anime is an interesting for horror fans although it has weaknesses in the animation execution and story adaptation.πŸ˜—
