Is Nefertima Vegan?

I just finished episode 2, and I'm starting to wonder. It feels like a betrayal of trust to me if she were to use divine magic to befriend animals and then go home and eat animal flesh, even if they are different animals. I don't support animal rights myself, I know chickens would kill me in an instant if they could, but in this instance it feels appropriate.

At first I was just worried about whether befriending all the squirrels and birds will make them associate humans with "mofumofu nadenade" and so they'll end up getting eaten by hunters, but there's a much more prescient concern here it seems.

EDIT: I noticed just now, but I don't think the show ever showed Nefertima interact and befriend any livestock. I think that was probably a deliberate choice.

Pretty sure she's chowing down on meat at some point in the early episodes.

@LostSpectre In episode 3 she bought a huge amount of meat but didn't eat any. In episode 4, however, she was shown to have eaten half a serving of meat with her dinner (and it was said that she normally eats it all).

This has dark implications. I wonder which pet she's going to eat first.

Well monsters doesn't mind fighting for survival where the strong eat the weak so animals probably have the same mindset in the show. Kill/die for food is alright but unnecessary kills not.

she's not vegan, it's confirmed when you see her eating some monster insect's flesh on the episode with the goblins

however, bare in mind that both the god of creation and her, on numerous occasions, state that the existence of the food chains, some deaths being part of life cycle, and such is all normal, that's how life works

she's there to fix the animosity and imminent war between humans/monsters that's ultimately human made
