| The cat very interested in a kotatsu, left by an upper-class family for 100 yen, it's quite the deal. Lum, Ten and Ataru's rest day playing Othello while the cat wants to put a blanket over it, it mysteriously acts on its own, running around his room. Even then, it's able to replicate ice, so there's something magical about it, which leads to the Hyottoko symbol found on it, and confirms it as a Mendo family treasure, made from wood found in ice conditions. Oh well, the kotatsu fanatic within the cat will not let it go...and decides to use it as a sled. Wonderful. The cow in the pet shop, it defintely is weird having bitten by it, though Lum having cow horns, this is then unusual. Only when Ten blurts the details then everyone takes notice, which her magic also fades mysteriously. As expected, Nurse Sakura speculates Lum having been bitten by a cow to experience supernatural forces beyond their control. Even with cow horns, Lum's feeling that Ataru will run away from her, the feeling is real, and for once, he is not a scumbag after all. And as intended, having horns as Oni is not at all unusual. The homeroom teacher Onsen's visit to Mendo's mansion...he's pretty much the head of the household lols: Untouchable. |

| Can't take this show seriously and their attempts whenever they try to convince there indeed is such a "genuine" connection between Ataru and Lum, when for the 99 percent of the time that guy creeps the hell of out of every other girl when he's on the screen, which apparently is an "unserious" and "really funny" thing in this series. I feel for that teacher though. Man is surrounded with abnormalities lol. |
