This episode was fairly interesting imo for being able to capture the essence of a supernatural entity is capable of. There's more story lore added to this episode related to the Water Dragon God too.

Probably the most mysterious episode so far in the show. Himari had to take in all the info dump at once although it wasn't too hard to accept the truth.

- just like last episode, there's a story about 2 beings not being able to see each other
- we got some backstory for Yukari, and damn was he unbeatable in sword fight as a human, i guess that's to be expected when you're tasked with killing the emperor
- Yukari was then sacrificed to the dragon, but instead he was taken as its disciple, and then after a while, he was sent to out Momochi house, turning into Aoi's best shikigami
- our dragon god was so lonely that he became unaware of possible threats, like that talisman thing
- Himari saving the day once again, she looks great with that sacrificial outfit
- lol at "i'll punish you later", her heart must have skipped a beat or 2

This episode making me think I'm missing an episode because in some of the group pictures it shows the fox kid from the last episode as tho he's like integrated with their little family well but never happened at all yet 😂
The post credits with the punishment and the jingle going all distorted tho like some kinda meme 😂

Last two episodes have done a good job fleshing out Yukari and Ise. Don’t think they’ll be being assholes to Himari anymore 😂

Yukari backstory is full of pain and betrayal. Couldn’t help but feel bad for him. Then even he and Ryujin sama got separated so he’s been through a lot. The talisman that was causing everything is pretty suspicious. Would be hard pressed to not think that’s Kasha

That “i’ll punish you later” from Nue to Himari was so spicy lol. The aoi and himari ship vibes were tooo strong in this ep

I think this show gets more and more interesting as it goes on.

This was more focused on Yukari and his background, and we get to see Himari saving the day.

Yukari is always so sweet and thoughtful, it's sad to hear how he was raised solely to assassinate the emperor and got punished for it even though he ultimately didn't end up being the killer. But also, seeing how Yukari more or less raised Aoi, I can't imagine how much he'll suffer when Aoi as a human will eventually die...

For Yukari, not being able to hear his spiritual realm and entity of Ryujin as an ayakashi, it's a bad affair, especially when the shrine that's connected to Ryujin suddenly rots, causing him to go unconscious. The spring needs sacrificial kin, though Himari willing to sacrifice herself is asking too much. And being part of the Momochi House's family, Himari wants to save Yukari as well, though Aoi puts her in her place to recognize the danger and let him and Ise handle the ritual.

Despite that, Himari stands on the sidelines, and Yukari commands Aoi to temporarily release his contract and save Himari out of the tainted spring. But in the midst, Himari gets a look into Yukari's past memories, which from his past life from being an assassin to sacrifice from Ryujin as an ayakashi, being sent to Momochi House, it's all for his wellbeing, despite being lonely, and then foolishingly cursed by Kasha, severing their connection for the while.

Well, it's clear that Kasha is only here to give more trouble to Aoi and the rest, what antics does he have in store for them?
