I like the show so far.
Setting up a bunch of decently cool characters just so we can watch them kill each other?✅
Tsundere Wyvern ✅
Blue Wyvern with a.... shotgun & lightsaber? ✅
GoT like setting with anime like demon lord backdrop ✅
Gruesome ✅
Just overall pretty cool so far. I realize a lot hasn't happened yet and they're just introducing the world but I still enjoy it. I just hope there is enough anime left for some sick stuff to happen, as its only 12 episodes... But so far I'm happy with it

@dragynfaerie It won't end. The first volume introduces only first 4 shuras, there are 12 other, before the tournament I assume(didn't get that far in the novel). But that's fairly certain a very long novel. Everything you see now is buildup, and ep 5-6 will begin with lots of action.

| Once the 23rd out of 29 Generals of Aureatia, Taren the Guarded has quite the figure on herself, preparing for war on Aureatia, aided by Dakai the Magpie into capturing the magic item of Cold Star for her, one of the items that documents the Demon Lord and his traces. Despite not being a swordsman, Dakai helps Taren on ousting those leaking the information, as such with the Aucreatia Secret Service, being a bandit who is swift and fast, despite being an aberrant entity not from the Distant World. On the other hand, there is Regnejee the Wings of Sunset, leading a pack of wyverns and protecting the citizens of Lithia, though he deals with his own kind too if they break the promise of protecting the Lithians. The relationship that he has with Curte, being someone who survived the True Demon King's insanity that left her blinded, and her song that brought her back to sanity, as much as she wants to try touching him. So far, it's just like the Record of Ragnarök trying to introduce everyone into this heroic battle royale, albeit slowly and taking its time. |

| @KANLen09 don't wanna be that person, but she wasn't a general, she was an official. There are 29 that are in charge of major decisions in Aureatia. Harghent(ep 2) on the other hand is a sixth general. |
| Personally I think there's way too much discussion about XYZ character we haven't even met. I dislike it when an anime can't tell a story by showing us the story. EDIT: There's so very little coherence... it's staggering. |

| I was about to drop it, then watched ep 4 and 5 and those are actually acceptable Idk why ep 2 and 3 are so shit in comparison. So much shit illustrations with a side scroller and shit CGI. Tons of names of places and characters that we have no context and know nothing about. There's no goals so far, and nothing is explained properly Also, I've never seen a Narrator being used so bad in an anime before. The narrator does a summary of the obvious stuff that was just shown, instead of explaining all the damn places, names and conflicts that are impossible to understand or keep up with |
| This show has a little too entailed of a world to take in the way it does things from different perspectives. It's hard to piece things together that way both happening same time. |
