For those who don't know about "worthless pride" lemme explain.
You guys remember how Wakatoshi Ushijima is on Oikawa's humiliation list? How much Oikawa wants to beat Ushijima? He wants to beat him so bad that he didn't go to Shiratorijawa where he could actually became the best version of himself but rather choose Seijoh where they can fight head on. Cool isn't it?

I am actually surprised that Ushijima is aware of it, and that makes it even cooler.

It’s all fun and games after all, being high schoolers they would try and make themselves seem cool or have some type of reputation which makes sense, since you are trying to find yourself in a world full of different characters.

One of the main reasons I love Haikyuu is because of the characters and their interactions. It takes me back to being in school and the joys of being young, dumb and free. I guess here, it’s about making memories and making sure they last; hence Oikawa trying to humiliate Ushiwaka 😂

I'm not a crazy Oikawa fan but the fact that he didn't go to Shiratorijawa because he wanted to play against Ushijima is super cool.

@MagneticFluxx, I know where you are getting at but I like the character/ team philosophy in Haikyu rather than volleyball or the story itself. So no matter how it ends, I think I will be okay
