| And we're back with the first Dr. Slump of the new year! Quite the tonal shift here from Karuta and Kites to Arale lying shattered into several pieces by the end. As I've said before I've only read the manga through Volume 13 so far so that visual seemed kind of surprisingly graphic to me. We've seen Arale lose her head before on several occasions, sure, but her arms and torso and whatnot? Obotchaman-kun's wrath certainly seems justified, but can he stand up to the seemingly invincible Caramel Man 007 all alone? Well the preview sort of spoils things, but we'll see next week! Also, loved the Mashirito crows rejecting manuscripts at the beginning and the cicada playing with poop lol. |
