- Part 2 of the Cure Noble / Flashback(?) arc
- Yessss, the opening was updated to include the Undergu Empress + Emperor
- Sora punches another boulder and once again makes me wonder why she even bothers transforming, lol
- THE BETRAYAL
- This animation ✨
- I GASPED WHEN NOBLE ACCIDENTALLY HIT THE EMPRESS
- To not only introduce such a scenario (having a Cure almost accidentally kill somebody with their attack), but then have said person feel immense guilt over the aforementioned mistake…. This may very well be one of the best Precure episodes of all time
- Butterfly in the ending

This episode made realize how close we are to the end.

Cure Noble is a beast in battle.

Looks like this season will end with talk as the final weapon, seeing that 1 purifying attack almost killed Kaiserin, and caused a lifelong injury.

Wow one of my fave Hirogaru sky episodes! Loved cure Noble and Undergu empress’ relationship in this one. The emperor really was a scumbag for the underhanded attack on the town during a peace negotiation. Nearly cost his daughter her life as well.

The animation during noble’s fight scenes were so damn good, especially her facial animations. You could really feel the anger and disappointment in her voice. Had Kaiserin not been there, someone definitely would’ve died.

Speaking of which though, back in present day something clearly went wrong for Kaiserin. I wonder what it was. It’s clearly still a very sore memory for her. She and the princess seemed to be so close and trusting.. what could make her hate her now? Also, it seems like the undergu energy used to heal her is only a band aid rather than a proper fix. 300 years is a pretty good lifetime for a band-aid though. But, I wonder how they’ll be able to heal her?

I don’t see a big final fight in the cards, considering she damn near lost today. Unless she just turns into some fully evil demon controlled by undergu energy… I think things end with a talk or something tbh.

End is certainly in sight, 48 or 49 eps seems plausible now.

Surprisingly not much really happened in this one. I was expecting some shocking twist or revelation to end this flashback mini-arc but at the end it just kinda fizzled out and we're no closer to understanding the villain's motives than we were before the flashback. I still don't know why she seems upset.

The combat was so good on this one, I hope I don't jinx it on the remaining sidesteps but the quality this season has been exceptional and so consistent.

Uh so Kaiser has some reasons beside weaklings hate on why he wants to defeat Sky Land. Were there any other life forms in the Underg Empire besides him, his daughter and Skearhead tho? Like 300 years ago?
After Ellee being born from a star, Undergs are born from the sea of Underg Energy. Funny how basically every magical being in this show is said to be born from something that isn't what they call “mother” or “father” ahahah.
Poor my girl Kaiserin!! It's so rare to see Precure making mistakes since they are role model heroes, but it's a nice way to make them more human and less ideal. Clearly we didn't see everything of the past, so I'm looking forward to see why Kaiserin changed her whole personality because of Elleelain (why Kaiserin wants to kidnap Ellee? Is the morning star related to Elleelain?).

Btw, at this point the season feels a lot more like an Heisei era Precure. Kind of bad they had like 10 episodes of nothing going on and all the lore is just pushed in the end. I wish they showed Empress Underg a lot earlier to make the 20~40 episodes more interesting to watch. Also Tsubasa and Ageha really had the short of the stick in this season. I get that they are pretty uncommon characters for children to project themselves into in a magical girl anime, but they basically had their character's arcs over 2 months ago and them being excluded from the time travel episodes feels like the staff only wanted them in the show for fanservice.
