This seems like a hidden gem from this year, with emphasis on the word "hidden".... so I'm not counting on it getting a season 2. And looking at how many volumes the source has, I also really can't see it being a full adaptation.

so, I have to ask before watching it, does it end at a place that can be looked at as the ending?

like in a way that I would be satisfied even if we never got more?

you can ignore this thread I just found out that someone else has already asked this and got my asnwer.

How the hell did they fit 15 volumes in 24 episodes?

and the score of anime is HIGHER?

I only joined a few months ago, although have been watching anime forever. So your question is new to me. As a noob to the story, no manga, I found it to be a nice angle to tackle what is basically a show about racism. The characters are well designed if not a bit linear, and there are some inventive twists in the storytelling. Overall, I think it stopped in a good place, although I’ll watch another season if they make it.

I didn't read the manga yet, but to add characters on another site (won't say the name idk if I can) I searched the names of some background characters in the manga and can say: they covered the whole thing. though they skipped a little and did some minor changes. but the ending and the characters remain the sames and it doesn't feel rushed or forced.

it's one of my favorite show of this year

the ending is just beautiful they covered the whole manga so no Season 2, I would of like to see more of the other 3 Kingdoms and more of the world but the ending is a happy ending.

Woah the score is at 8 now? I remember it wasn't even a 7.5 when it finished.

Well deserved though, it's definitely a gem, it was so extremely well paced and still covered the whole manga.
