| As we see memories of their love falling apart, it becomes obvious that Ines isn't a trustworthy storyteller. Her view makes it hard to trust other characters, and it makes her own story sadder because she couldn't see the help she had. Still, her newfound ability to remember and understand things she missed before, like her brother's anger or Carcel's love, shows she's slowly getting better, bringing a bit of hope to her story. |
