Chapter 89 - the end of season 1

With the chapter 89 the first season is completed. Authors are taking a break till april 2024. What now?

The story is going to the unknown direction.

But what about Dohwa? Until now the narration was "the competition between Eunhyeok and Dohwa" but I think it's clear that now it's over

I would guess that either A: Eunhyeok somehow will turn into a bad guy and Dohwa will take his place (unlikely), B: the couple will remain and a new character/ someone we already know will be with Dohwa, or C: the couple will remain and Dohwa is alone (nah please noo :c)

I'd also like to add that this manhwa started realy strong, I loooved it but now it just confuse me. The story totally changed and tbh I don't like the direction it is currently going to. But despite that, I'm curious so I'll keep reading

What are your predictions? Any toughts?

if this is only the end of s1, doesn't that mean we could only be like half way through? I am not at all saying the story is dragging along currently, but the romace is basically already set in stone. it was from the beginning, second lead NEVER wins. Sadly, I get second leader syndrome VERY.SINGLE.DAMN.TIME. This time I like both of them pretty equally tho.

Despite the romace kinda already being set, there are a few characters and panels that need explaining. Assuming from all the comments on Webtoon of the series, everyone is fully convinced the male leader (don't wanna butcher spelling) is related to the blonde chick. Which would be kinda weird cuz wasn't she tryna rizz him up at one point?? of course, only cuz of her sister, seems like she's not actually attracted to anyone. She needs therapy tho, crazy physco.....idk about that honestly, the parent situation is pretty confusing so far (srry if some of these things have already been mentioned or there's been concrete evidence & stuff, I have pretty bad memory)

the love point system things is having some VERY large bugs as well. I don't know what the blonde dude is up to with those comments or whatever?!!!

anyhow, I could ramble forever. I really love this series, the art is so breathtaking and the story is even better. Overall, idk what's in store for us but the writing has been amazing (yet confusing) so far. I know that whatever happens, we won't be disappointed!! 🙃🙃 yes Ik kinda corney & cringey that was but whatever 🙄 😒 😴
