Nope, I don't think so. This anime didn't get much attention and a lot of time has passed since it aired. I don't think it will ever get a second season

Even if Komi-san manga released in May 2016 and Senryuu Shoujo in October, they're a lot different. You can't call Senryuu a copy

No one can really say. It definitely depends on the author...?
I, for one, like this series very much! and on a side note because someone mentioned another series, I honestly prefer this than Komi. 😖

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Honestly think this was a test to see how the genre would go because a lot of people didn't like this genre at the time. After Komi aired, I don't think we will see this ever come back unless it's a reboot because one, Komi is too popular and two, the anime missed out on a lot of details so would have to start from the beginning.

komi got an adaptation way after senryuu had, and komi wasn't serialized before senryuu was. plus komi had a one shot before senryuu, not a manga. other wise komis manga is like a month or two difference before it was serialized, wym a copy? yeah senryuu copied something that became a story afterwards???
