This episode was so well-executed that I nearly forgot how upset I was with the censorship last week lmao. They captured both Hua Cheng's confident ease in fighting and Xie Lian's inner turmoil and resignation so beautifully. Seeing Hua Cheng's slightly distraught and conflicted expression after E'ming accidentally struck Xie Lian tugged at my heartstrings—I can't wait for the kidnapping scene!

After reading the book, I often find myself paying special attention to the subtle motions and expressions of the morally nuanced characters—such as Mu Qing, Pei Ming, and Jun Wu—during tension-filled scenes like this. In today's episode, I believe they demonstrated that perfectly without giving too much away.

If I had one gripe, it would be that I would have liked a better angle on the scene where Xie Lian deflected both swords during the fight—so that we could see Xie Lian's badassery in all its glory in hopes that a few people would stop underestimating him.

There are rumours flying around that episode 6 (next week's episode) has been delayed... I'm not sure if it's true, and if it is true, then I'm not sure why... Does anyone have any news on this?

Xie Lian showing off why he’s one the THE strongest martial gods. Another great episode. I was hoping the dongua would help clear up the difference in pronunciation between Feng Xin and Fangxin, but I’m still as confused as ever 🥲

@frostfire-san I can't recall which part was censored in the last week's episode?

@__Mina__22 In the novel, Xie Lian falls straight onto Hua Cheng's lap when he falls from the ceiling before tackling him to make way for Shi Qingxuan and Ming Yi. In the manhua, while he also fell onto Hua Cheng's lap, he also landed on top of him after tackling him to the ground.
