| Yes, I should clarify only 2 people would know of young Masamune - Koiwai and Aki. I'm not sure about Koiwai, but Aki should've suspected something. She remembers a boy named "Masamune", but upon meeting Kanetsugu, she can clearly see "Masamune" does not appear anywhere in his name. |

If I remember correctly, he said Masamune was his nickname and Adagaki didn't know Masamune's full name so she could easily believe him.
| @Loayza Ah, I see. This makes sense. I figured it had to be that, or something like similar kanji. For better consistency with the show, I would like it if everyone called Kanetsugu "Masamune", but I seem to be too bothered by this. |

It seems to jump through hoops for the plot. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
