at least for me, season 3 is a lot more interesting than the second. today's episode was pretty good

season 2 has some insight in what mc got swepty by and Raphtalia's origins and what if the other heroes
| @KK7plus7 I've already seen season 2, and given it an appropriate rating of 1/10. Let's face it, whole season 2 should've been one 40 min episode or a movie, that's all it was worth. There's no insight worth sitting through it (I say that as I force myself to do the same, just for season 3 preparation). |
| Naofumi's companions were being weak for about 1.5 episodes (in S2) episodes 12-13, it pisses off so much that I regretted watching it; that was all the way back in July 2022 but I fortunately forget it anyways as time passes. |

| @_otaku_man00 Honestly, I would skip it and jump to Season 3 directly. But there might be some plot points that'll carry over. Season 2 feels like a filler season, such awful trashware where whole anime turns into another generic shit Isekai (Another World with a Smartphone level). I did leave a sexy review, but you might as well watch Season 2 to experience why it's hated by many. |
| Trust when I say that they skipped almost ALL the interesting parts of the already middling Spirit Turtle arc. People would be better off reading the manga or a wiki article or something of what S2 covered. |

| Guys, I can't. I just, can't. I re-watched season 1, had a good time. Then I started re-watching Season 2 and while on episode 2, the amount of shit dialogue and focus on unfunny antics of the annoying-as-fuck Rishia made me roll my eyes enough that I put the show on secondary monitor, started browsing the internet. Like I said in my review, even if you ignore the moronic Tortoise as the "big bad" of the season 2, this fucking background character (Rishia) showed up for like 30 seconds in two episodes of season one. Why in the golden fuck would you make this character a bigger focus in the sequel, unless you had no idea where the fuck to go with story after the initial premise of Shield Hero being unfairly accused of sexual assault and rising up (thus the "RISE" part of the title)? Anyway, while browsing the net, I found out that Goblin Slayer season 2 is beginning, and I stopped watching Shield Hero season 2 on episode 2 itself. Switched to re-watching Goblin Slayer season 1 and having a good time all over again. Season 2 of Shield Hero is the nightmare fuel generic piece-of-shit Isekai anime are made out of. I'll try watching it again.. later. Ugh. I need to start updating my stack and start warning people about certain seasons for specific shows in the descriptions. |

| I DID IT. Re-Watched season 2 of Shield Hero and realized, 1/10 was too high. Season 2 needs -10/10 cause dear lord it got painful. You know the funniest part of season 2? Watch scenes closely and how camera just pans away from Shield Hero to Rishia and other such generic characters. Hell, in some scenes Naofumi is actually in background while focus is given to shitty secondary characters in scene. Naofumi became a secondary character in S2, so it made sense. It still astounds me how Season 1 is so drastically different in tone and presentation while being 25 episodes, while S2 with 13 episodes not only looks bad but is just written awfully. 13th episode isn't even worth watching, it's entire pointless filler episode to end the shit-show. Meh. Time to move on too season 3. |

s2 was basically like semi decent backstory for s3 from what I can tell,
s2 was pretty bad standalone but some of the information is valuable to know, and the start of s3 is already way stronger then the entirety of s2

| @topcheese35 Like I said before, Season 2 should've been a 40-60 min movie. As for season 3, yes, I'm actually liking it. Much closer to season 1 vibes. |
